Location: Starting Location is Griffs in South Charleston, WV
The Arc of The Three Rivers will be having their 1st Annual Poker Run on Saturday, August 14th, 2010.
Proceeds from the Poker Run will go towards the 2010 T.E.A.M. Retreat which sends up to 60 adults with diagnosis of Intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to Camp Cedar Lakes in Ripley, WV for 3 days and 2 nights.
Registration starts at 10:30 am with first rider leaving at 11:30 am and last rider leaving at 12:30 pm. The locations are as follows (Also see attached map):
1. Griffs- Riverwalk Plaza
2. American Legion-Hamlin
3. Hooters- Barboursville
4. Mayberry’s- St. Albans
5. Quaker Steak- Corrider G/Southridge
Entry fee is $25.00 per hand day of event. We will be having free t-shirts for the first 185 riders. Best hand wins $1,000.00 and worst hand wins $250.00. Parkersburg Homecoming
August 20th - 22nd
Parkersburg Homecoming is held every August and is home to West Virginia's largest fireworks show. In addition to the fireworks, there is the Festival Pageant, Gold Scramble, flea market, crafts and multiple activities for kids. Enjoy live entertainment such as concerts, talent shows, parades, the Rubber Ducky Derby and much more.
