In the early 1990’s, our local cable network started as Cable Marketplace, offering home and vehicle advertising. Through several name changes, we expanded our offerings and looked for ways to respond to viewer interests.
In 1994, we were the first to offer televised local high school football, airing the Parkersburg High School vs. Parkersburg South game. From there we have grown to a schedule of ten high school games each year. Network West Virginia is the EXCLUSIVE home of the West Virginia High School Football Super Six Championship games.
Network West Virginia is a service of Suddenlink Media. With offices in Parkersburg, Charleston and Beckley, we air programming in each region, offering local sports, classifieds, and nationally syndicated programs.
