There aren't really many opoitns at this point ya know. I had the same problem..When I was first pregnant I stopped smoking menthols and went to regular lights, I only smoked outside. Absolutely no smoking inside.. and no smoking in the car (which can be really hard), then I went even further and started to roll my own cigarettes. It was a big nuisance and annoying.. which in turn made me smoke less. It's a start though..try that and see where it gets you and if you haven't quit by the time the baby gets here then you quit the day you go to the hospital to have it. When you leave that hospital w/ that baby never pick up another cig again.. you will have had a couple days to get the nicotine out of your system by then.Good luck!

Sure. It's an old method. Not easy to do, tughoh. I got down to five and got stuck there. The best stop smoking med is Chantix. The only ones you can keep using after you stop are nictotine replacement therapy in which case you will still be addicted to nicotine and Wellbutrin. Most of these things should really be used when you stop, which is when you need them most. And don't believe the BS about how withdrawal goes away after 2 days, or about oral fixations and will power. Not everyone gets addicted to nicotine, or strongly addicted. It depends on genetics, including what receptor sites you have. In fact, nicotine may be the most addictive drug known, and the addicted smoker typically continues to experience symptoms of withdrawal for months.

As a former smoker i can honestly say that smokers have no idea the effect cigarette smoke has on others around them. Only when your able to quit can you really smell how terrible cigarettes are. A smoking ban in all public places must be enforced to protect public interest. No one has the right to make anyone inhale there second hand smoke. Especially our youth and our elderly who are extremely susceptible to lung and or breathing problems. Its not a personal issue with smokers, just a matter of using good judgement. If you smoke around your kids you are literally killing them.

It is our right to smoke if we want to....we should be able to smoke in bars, bowling alleys, and etc. They keep raising the prices on them. But how many people do we kill driving down the road? DWI's kills more than we do. Pretty soon we are not going to be able to smoke in our homes or cars!

People should be able to smoke in bars and clubs. good ventilation should take care of most of the second hand smoke. and people must be over 21 to go into a bar or club so they are adult enough to make the decision. with the economy and unemployment as they are, the last thing we need is overregulation of smoking. we do not need to put these people out of business or the businesses/entertainment that rely on these businesses for their well being.
